How payment works


Stage-based progress billing — you only pay as your project moves forward. The exact stage amounts depend on the size you select.


  • Reservation deposit (30%) — at checkout. Covers pre-install work.
  • Materials & mobilization (30%) — after walkthrough, before materials ordered.
  • Install start (30%) — Day 1 of installation.
  • Completion (10%) — after final walkthrough confirms quality.

Which size do I need?


Measure the length of counter × height of backsplash (typical backsplashes are 18" tall, or 1.5 ft).


  • 15 sq ft: small kitchens, single-wall layouts, or partial backsplashes
  • 30 sq ft: standard kitchens, L-shaped layouts
  • 45 sq ft: larger kitchens, U-shaped or wraparound layouts

What's not included


  • Areas beyond your selected size (we'll quote upgrades at walkthrough)
  • Premium or designer tile (subway/square showroom tiles are included; upgrades quoted separately)
  • Stone, natural slab, or specialty material backsplashes
  • Drywall repair beyond minor patching
  • Outlet/switch relocation or electrical work
  • Removal of existing tile if substantial demolition is required

Frequently asked


Is the deposit refundable?

Non-refundable. You can reschedule or apply it to another product within 3 months. Full refund if we can't deliver during walkthrough. See [Refund Policy].

The tiles are really free?

Yes — subway or square tiles from our in-stock showroom selection at no extra cost. Designer or premium tile is a quoted upgrade.

What's Schluter edging?

Metal trim that finishes backsplash edges cleanly — no exposed cuts. Included standard.

What if I picked the wrong size?

We measure at walkthrough. If you're in the wrong bundle, we'll move you to the right one before any additional charges.

What happens if I cancel mid-project?

Each stage covers a specific phase. Tile is non-returnable once ordered. If you cancel after Stage 2, materials are owed. The completion stage holds back until you're satisfied.
